I'm an explorer from England, playing with various techniques and media, often using my own photographs as inspiration. Creative writing also plays a part within my art: I obtained a Creative Writing Certificate at the University of Sheffield back in 2000.

Playing and intuition contribute a lot to my creative output. Originally my art consisted mainly of oil paintings and drawings. From them I progressed to watercolour and about 6 years ago began my journey toward collage and altered art. Immediately I took my first steps along that course, I knew that mixed media was my forte. Today, I feel far happier messing around with ephemera, acrylics and dry media than with anything else.

At the moment my artworks consist mainly of collage, journals, altered books and sketchbooks, with an emphasis on texture and urban settings. I also enjoy partaking in various projects, like the ArtHouseCo-op sketchbook and that of the Travelling Artists’ Guild. I find such projects motivating and learn much from participating in them.

Thanks for your great comments about my paintings.  I've enjoyed looking at all your work.  The photos are beautifully haunting.

Thanks Skoolie - I've seen 2 more with the same theme, both very different. I struggled to get going, but more relaxed about it now.

Very awesome sketchbook so far. You are the first person I've seen with this theme. Can't wait to see more.
