Michelle Dickson, Art House’s Artist in Residence

Michelle Dickson is our current artist in residence, and we’re really excited about her upcoming show! She’s been working really hard in our gallery this month, and will be showing her finished pieces in the May ArtStroll. As an artist in residence, she’s in the galley 24/7; She literally sleeps in the loft above Steven and Shane’s desks! We’re very happy to have her here, and hope everyone can make it to her show on the 22nd of May.

More pictures and an interview with the artist after the jump!

Michelle took some time out of her busy schedule to answer some questions for our “Interview With an Artist” series.

How long have you been an artist

I’ve wanted to be an artist for as long as I can remember. I think the shift from learning/aspiring to more professional happened in my junior year at UF.
