Lucky you, being in a place where you can actually see the thousands(?) of books sent in. If you see my book in the exhibition setting, would you mind photographing it and sending me a picture by email? An overall shot would also be appreciated. Now, back to the drawing board (or in my case, canvas). I have some deadlines to meet but have been ill, so I'm way behind. Best wishes.

Hi Renee, Today our sketchbooks will be out there to be shared with whoever is interested. Guess what, I was looking at the blog and at flickr, both of which are showing some photos of themed boxes with our books -  I actually saw a corner of my book sticking out (it has quite a distinctive colourful cover). At least I now know that it arrived safely! The postal service in UK provided a very erratic service at the end of last year - wild cat strikes etc. Anyway,  I wished I could be there to see all the books of my new friends. Will you be able to go when the show comes to Chicago?

Had a look at your website and am bowled over. Your work is beautiful - execution, colour, atmosphere - entirely the kind of work I like. I love the ambiguity of 'is it floating, exploding or carried by the wind?' of much of your imagery. Am bookmarking your site to have a longer look.

Well, your shapes and colors make me want to paint and draw, and that is pretty high praise from one artist to another, si?

Love your drawings, Love your paintings...

Good idea, Renee.  But I wonder if that is allowed since I paid to enter the other one and already have the book.  They might want another fee.  But I can ask!  :)
