My bio
My work to this point has been quite experimental. I am self taught and enjoy creating abstract works that have an appealing sense of colour that will move the eye around in exploration, wonder and harmony. I like the idea of being able to communicate to others these colourful moments or puzzles that live in my mind that end up on canvas or paper.
I came runner up in the Rock the Art Vote competition for the company sweetriot in July 2009, have my artwork featured on the cover the 2010 McGregor Summer School brochure, I am the featured artist at the Long Island Arts gallery (www.longislandarts.com). This year I have exhibited work in the 2009 Aquisitive Kath Dickson Art Award, donated artwork to the Artsworx Race Day and sold greeting cards to the Australia Post for re-sale in Toowoomba, Australia. I am included in 4 publications for the New Year, including Inscape magazine, Ascent Aspiration and Counter Example Poetics magazine. I look forward to being a part of the Sketchbook Project and also The Space Between Us exhibitions in 2010.
